The previous electric team used to install the light equipment in a very simply way, however doing it so they didn't considered that after the installment normally another person should have to change or upgrade the light equipment because they (LED lights) can fail etc.
Given that the LED lights were installed
in the building's roof (approximately 9 meters above the ground), I
opted to reach out to one of the contractors, DM Electric, a team of
three individuals led by David and Victor Penam at that time. Together,
we designed and constructed a straightforward apparatus that would
enable the installation of larger LED lights. The primary features of
this design were as follows:
- 1. Increased Distance from the Wall: This adjustment allowed us to project the light over a greater distance.
- 2. Mitigation of Fall Hazards: Our priority was to eliminate the risk of potential falls for our team or future maintenance workers during tasks such as replacement or upkeep.
This
collaborative effort addressed the specific challenges posed by the LED
light installation, ensuring improved illumination and enhanced safety
measures.
